From the laughter-filled welcome dinner at La Scoggoli Seafront restaurant to the oh so glamorous pool party at La Gardenia, every moment was meticulously planned to reflect their one-of-a-kind love story.
The wedding was a blend of Irish heritage and Italian charm, with six bridesmaids dressed in mismatched green and Irish dancers entertaining guests in the evening - a nod to Amber's roots. The guests had been given the dress code ‘Italian Chic’ setting the stage for an unforgettable party: sunset cocktails, stylish passed nibbles, and dancing the night away with no end time, reminiscent of a '90s house party with the grainy film vibes to match.
THE DETAILS
The couple chose to get married on the pretty-as-a-picture island of Ischia. The journey to this volcanic island nestled between Naples and the infamous Capri, was nothing short of an adventure, requiring three planes, one ferry, and two water taxis. But as they say, the harder the journey the sweeter the arrival at the destination, and in this case, we’re talking seriously sweet.
Amber, adorned in Vivienne Westwood and D'Accori shoes, made her entrance in a vintage Fiat 500, accompanied by her father Roddy. Despite a minor setback when the car broke down, Amber remained effortlessly fabulous, embodying the spontaneously cool vibe that defined their wedding weekend.
The setting for the reception was a beautiful woodland, with table scapes scattered with Italian tomatoes and red gingham place settings, illuminated in the chic simplicity of festoon lighting. It was the most perfectly intimate surrounding for endless mounds of authentic spaghetti pomodoro, emotional speeches, and a heartfelt video presentation from Amber's mum.
In true Italian style, the reception was a celebration of life, with family and friends coming together to share in the joy and create cherished memories that would last a lifetime.
